Mini Sessions

Sessions include 20 minutes of shooting time, 10 digital images, Select dates and locations and immediate family only. These sessions start are $475-$550 with the option to add on all images for $250.

What is included?

A mini session is literally just what it sounds like - a miniature version of a full session. We offer these for our clients to be able to snag just a few great photos that are often used for Christmas card photos!

What is a mini session?

Due to the nature of how we book these sessions, with multiple sessions in one day with limited availability, unfortunately these sessions are non-refundable and we only offer one reschedule date for outdoor sessions which is pre-planned (tree farm not included).

Sydney is amazing! The photos she took of our newborn daughter are absolutely beautiful and are so precious to me. I love that she came to our home to do our photos - she was able to capture those special first days at home with our baby in her own nursery, and it was also really convenient not to have to pack up a newborn baby and take Baby out of her comfort zone when she was only 10 days old. While turnaround times can vary by season, we aim to deliver all images within one week of your mini session.

Q: When will I receive my images?

While we don’t guarantee an exact number of images, we will make sure we capture your family thoroughly. Most families should expect to receive at least 10 edited images following their mini session.

Q: How many images will I receive?

We guarantee that your images will remain in an online gallery for at 90 days from when we deliver the gallery. While your galleries may stay up longer than that, we cannot guarantee it. Once your galleries have been delivered, we highly recommend downloading all high resolution images to several devices. Consider investing in a portable, waterproof external hard drive.

Q: How long will I have access to the images?

Yes, you are welcome to print the images on your own. If you do this, we recommend making sure that the printer does not color correct the images (many automatically do this.) We also recommend looking for a high quality printer. While 10 cent prints sound great in theory, the cheaper printing quality often won’t do your images justice. Paper quality, color correction and a handful of other factors play a big role in the way your prints turn out. This is one of the reasons why we LOVE offering prints to our clients.

Q: Can I print the images on my own?

You are absolutely welcome to share images on social media. To ensure that our work is properly represented, we ask that you refrain from any edits. We also appreciate image credits and tags as they help us to continue to grow as a business.

Q: Can I share the images on social media?

By default, the creators of images always own the rights to the images. However we’ll give you a release to use, print and share your images. The only thing you won’t be able to do is sell your image as a stock photo. We won’t do this either without your written permission.

Q: Do I own the rights to the images?

We do light retouching on all of our images. This means that if there are any glaring objects that should be removed (such as a bump from the tumble your toddler took that morning,) we’ll remove it. Larger edits (such as removing tan lines,) require more time and would require us to add additional editing hours to your collection.

Q: Will you retouch our images?

Mini sessions are limited to 20 minutes. We have to be strict on the timing due to the nature of the back to back sessions so we ask that you arrive early and are ready to be photographed at your start time.

Q: How long should we plan for the session to take?

You work with Rebecca planning all the details leading up to and after your shoot date. Sydney however is the one who takes the photos! You get to meet her on the shoot date.

Q: When do I get to meet sydney?

You receive your images via an online gallery which we send to your email address on file once your images are ready. It is a password protected gallery that is easy to view, download and order products. Your gallery remains online for 90 days after its delivery date. We recommend you download and save your images in several places to keep them safe. .
